Grants Horse Transport (GHT) is a family-owned and operated business based in Yeppoon, Queensland, proudly servicing Central Queensland and beyond.

At GHT, we are passionate about making the entire transport process a positive experience for both horses and their owners. We understand that trusting someone with your horse is a big deal, so care, patience and safety are always our top priorities.

Grant is known for his calm, patient nature and his natural ability with animals. Our good friends have even nicknamed him “Grant Ventura”, thanks to his knack for communicating with animals and keeping even the most nervous travellers relaxed.

Grant designed and custom-built the horse truck himself (her name is Hilary). She features a sturdy floor with shock-resistant rubber, fully adjustable bays to suit horses of all sizes, cross ventilation with good views and breezes for the horses, and cameras for full visibility during travel.

Grant has been transporting horses for several years prior to starting his own business, and his passion for horses has been lifelong. That experience, combined with a calm approach and genuine care for every horse he handles, ensures each horse travels safely, comfortably and with minimal stress.
